This week I’ve got a guest post over at the Gothicked Blog. I review the Day of Demons short story anthology, and I thought it was well worth checking out—I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

More good reviews, TJames. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Rich,
Thanks for stopping by, and I’m glad you liked the review. Day of Demons is a little different from Grapes of Wrath (http://richweatherly.wordpress.com/2012/06/27/book-review-grapes-of-wrath/), but there are some talented contributors and a selection of varied and engaging short stories to be found inside.
Hi, TJ — thanks for the review. Impartial, and fair, and accurate. Good stuff mate.
Anytime Colin – it was a good read. As for the review – I’m partial to being paid a fare, because I don’t have the morals of a curate. BA-DUM-Ching!
Really great review.
And I loved the summation at the end, with just the right dash of clever word-play:
“If you love the smell of sulphur in the morning and want something brimming with creativity to put a little fire in your belly, this is probably it. “
Thanks, Matthew.
Word-play sometimes helps when I find my creativity dammed because I’m sulphuring from a devilishly tricky case of writer’s block.
Excellent review, TJ.
Thanks, Steve. May pixies never knot your shoe laces, nor fairies ever replace your shaving foam with pink aerosol paint.
